    Hi Geoff

    I’m reading your book – Best XI. I love it. It’s an exhilirating walk down memory lane. I have some questions for you. why did you omit Ponting from your all-time Oz XI? Sir Donald Bradman chose Sir Alec Bedser in his all time Test XI. You seem to favour Fred Trueman. Any comments on that?

    Last question? Best 5 batsmen based on ability(not stats)? Mine are Viv,Lara,Barry Richards,Sobers and Graeme Pollock. the Don is too good to be mentioned.
