Geoff,
I also couldn’t believe that Haddin and Johnson got away with just a fine while Benn got banned for two matches. Its not as if Suleiman Benn is well known as a hothead – quite the opposite.
There was an umpire standing right by them who saw and heard everything that was going on. Why didn’t he call them all together with the captains and tell them that they either apologize and get on with the match or face misconduct charges when they got off the pitch?

Dear Geoff and John,
I 100% agree with both of you, Haddin (always a smart alec) and Johnson (always a hot head)are both childish, immature people in general, let alone just in cricket terms.
Typical Australians in general, able to dish it out as good if not better than any country-race, but when it comes to getting any back, they are the first to sulk and react.
Johnson is very sulky and Haddin has always played like that, full of ego, both of them.
John, the umpire in that situation did not react one little bit, I quite agree.
all the best to all,
Dean Measor.
