Every week Geoff Boycott updates his site with fresh views on the world of cricket. Don't miss it.

Posted on | February 25, 2010 | 3 Comments
Geoffrey Boycott rarely speaks at events and to have him in Lord’s glorious (and exclusive) Long Room promises to be an unmissable occasion. An additional bonus is that Geoffrey will be introduced by another cricketing legend MJK Smith.
Chris Cowdrey is the MC for the evening, and there will be entertainment from author, singer and comedienne, Janice Day. There will also be an auction of spectacular items, including a cricket bat signed by all of the England Ashes winning team.
Date: June 10th 2010.
The evening will start with champagne on the Terrace at 7.00pm, followed by a three course dinner with wine. Carriages are at 11pm. Gentleman and Ladies are invited. The evening is black tie.
Tickets: £125 per person. You may also take a table for ten people at £1,100.
Contact Ginny Fraser on 01483 201020 or ginnyf@tiscali.co.uk to book your places at this event or for more details.
Join us for a unique and memorable evening.
All proceeds will go to supporting the charity CANCERactive.

What a brilliant night that would be.

Mr Geoffrey Boycott is my boyhood hero and my favourite cricketer, opening batsman, commentator and coach. I have learnt so much from watching him bat and from his commentary and coaching videos. I also admire his outspoken views and blunt comments.
This should be a wonderful evening and the chance to meet a cricket legend and my hero.
